Capitaine Roger Blanc, Gendarmerie Nationale

background

When his investigation into a case of corruption becomes politically critical, Captain Roger Blanc is transferred to Provence at short notice, where he is to do no more damage under the watchful eyes of a State Secretary in Paris. That’s the plan, but … even in idyllic Provence there is murder and corruption, terroristic attacks, environmental sinners … Roger Blanc is always in the thick of things, a workaholic who cannot simply let open questions rest and who often slips on the fine line between the complete clarification of a case and dismissal.
